Geneology

One Wednesday Morning

Genealogy is basically the tracing of your ancestors. It may appear to be a daunting task, but the Mayerthorpe Genealogy Resource Center (MGRC) has a group of volunteers who are willing to help you get started on your own genealogy.

Come to visit the genie group on any Wednesday morning at the Library from 9 am to noon. It is an opportunity to network with others. Several useful books are available through the library system, many of which are housed in our Library.

For a yearly fee of $20 you can attend regular monthly meetings that are held on the last Tuesday of September to June (except December). Regular informative newsletters are sent to members via e-mail.
