The Friends of the Library are an enthusiastic group of people who value libraries, and the services they provide to the community. These community minded individuals help promote awareness of the library’s programs and services and aid in raising funds to meet special library needs. Friends also have the opportunity to meet new people and enjoying the benefits of being a Friend of the Library. The future of libraries will have need of enthusiastic advocacy to expand the awareness of their importance in rural comunities and ensure increased and sustained funding. The Friends of the Mayerthorpe Public Library has an important role in the future of our Library

We now have a Revenue Canada Charitable number.

Donations and Memorial Donations made to the Friends will receive a tax receipt.
